YOUTH CARE SPECIALIST
Schedule
Schedule 12 hour shifts 3 days one week and 4 days the next, rotate week-ends
Job Duties
Supervision of and interaction with children and implementation of daily living scheduleTransport to school, doctors, dentists, mental health appointments, court, etc.
Supervise and provide assistance with virtual learning (Edgenuity software).
Teach daily life and social skills through chores, recreation, etc.
Responsible to clean residential unit and do resident’s laundry (night shift)
Conduct daily devotions with children and attend church on Sunday
Requirements
Be at least 21 years oldPass an FBI and CPS background check
Clean driving record
Have earned a Bachelor’s degree in education, social services, or ministry; or have at least six months professional experience working with youth.
Adhere to and be willing to teach a conservative, fundamental, traditional lifestyle.
Able to work 7 am – 7 pm or 7 pm - 7 am and week-ends on a rotating schedule.
Physically able to engage in activities with youth
Starting Salary & Benefits:
$17.00 − $19.00 / hour depending on education and experience.Life, health, short-term and long-term disability insurance provided at no cost. Dental / Vision insurance available
